Where previous storylines were linear, players will be able to explore Haso at their leisure and choose what direction they want their story to take. A familiar face will also be making a return, as the Black Desert Online character Yeonwha will be continuing her story from the Magnus quest line, exploring how her homeland has changed since her absence. Players can look forward to branching storylines including tracking down the beautiful monster Gumiho, or joining the Striped Sentries as they attempt to defeat Sangoon. The new region's quest lines will be a continuation of Black Desert Online's updated storytelling system, featuring cutscenes and voice acting, though that also seems to have been improved upon. As fun as it is to get tossed off a hill by Karanda, players can look forward to something a little more challenging with these bosses.
